TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED AMID ASSASSINATION OF GALESHEWE TAXI OWNER THIS MORNING

Police have acted swiftly in arresting two suspects following the killing of a taxi owner at his home in Stamper Street at Galeshewe in Kimberley this morning.

The suspects were reportedly accosted by police at Bloemhof in the North West province after 10h00. The getaway vehicle has also been impounded by the police.

Even though the motive still remains unknown, its speculated that the shooting bears the hallmarks of a hit.

The deceased is believed to have been shot at fifteen times in his attempt to escape his attackers but ultimately succumbed amid sustaining a gunshot to the head.

Thabo Mothibi obtained his NQF7 through Wits University’s Graduate School of Public and Development Management (P&DM) in Johannesburg, a Unilever Mandela Rhodes Academy for Marketing and Communications Academy (UMRA). The goal of the NQF7 programme was to educate and train public and private sector professional communicators and marketers in government communications..
